Well, it's been 3 years since the last post and things are not getting any better but we are still here. I've moved on to a "new" 1994 Volvo 940 wagon. We haven't been traveling as much so hopefully it will last just as long as the old 240. It retired with 360000 miles or so. I've moved up the road to Kennebunk after nearly 30 years in Ogunquit. Still getting used to the new neighborhood but it's a nice change, especially now that it's tourist season.

Long Time
Haven't posted to this blog in a loooong time. Just wanted to say that despite the economic reality of playing music for a living, we're still here and still making a living. Hopefully the worst is over.

Snow nor Sleet nor Gloom of Night
It's Snowing, Sleeting, and generally doing what Nor'easters do here in Scenic Ogunquit, Maine right now. Last weekend we went up to Sunday River for our
bi-weekly adventure. Finally there were some happy skiiers up there.
This Friday we're at the Wet Bar in Portsmouth. It's kind of like "Sprockets" the old Saturday Night Live. But it's a really nice place to play. It's in the basement of the Old Banana's on Hanover Street.

New Start
I'm getting a new start with Feedblitz. Bloglet apparently has gone out of business so I've switched to Feedblitz. Anyone interested should re-subscribe since I was unable to save the subscriptions from Bloglet. The subscription form is on the blog.
Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience.

Sunset on the Beach
Tonight's another beach susnset party. It should be beautiful. These have turned out to be a really good idea.
All we need is a Tiki Bar!

On the Porch
Since we didn't make it to gthe gig last night I got to hang out on the porch with Julia and family and drink wine. Not a bad way to spend an August evening, but "on the whole I'd rather be in Kittery" making money.
Oh well, the Volvo saga is about to begin. Looking for a fuel pump relay. If anyone out there has one, let me know. I foolishly threw my backup away.

Picnic on the Beach
Last night was a lot of fun. We had the bi-weekly get-together on the beach with Stephen and Elise. Their friend Erica was there, and Pat McNamara and his wife and kids. A great time was had by all.
Later we came back and sat on the porch with Jason and drank Martinis. It doesn't get any better than that in Maine in the summertime. Of course I have a touch of the "Gentleman's Morning Head" this morning. I wish I had one of Jeeves' patented pick-me-ups.
Fortunately we have the night off so after a brief stint roasting coffee this afternoon all will be "gas and gaiters". As Alex says in Clockwork Orange: I'll be right as dodgers by this-after!
